A message to the New Zealand governing coalition: not in my name.

If this ‘peace plan’ is possible now, it was possible on, let's say, 10 October 2023, and it would have avoided the slaughter of tens of thousands of Palestinians by the IDF.
Dismay is widespread, here in Aotearoa-New Zealand, as our Right wing coalition government continues its over cautious, lily-livered kow-towing to Trump and Netanyahu against the conscience, humanity, and morality of we-the-people. This refusal is unabated even in the face of a declaration by the aggressors of a ‘peace plan’, that sounds more like an ultimatum. The Palestinians were not at the table when the plan was drafted. If it were to be successful in any sense, it would become a real estate opportunity in which the pummelled population of Palestine still lucky enough to be alive, would be obliged to buy an apartment or produce documentation to prove their previous homeownership, and any number of further hurdles. Their own homes have been obliterated, their children murdered and maimed in front of their eyes, their hospitals, schools, universities, shops and services ground into rubble, the tents they retreated to bombed while their children were inside. Why would they trust the ‘peace plan’ put forward by the genocidal agents Trump and Netanyahu? Netanyahu even speaks like a gangster when he says it will be the easy way or the hard way. That is stand over tactics, not peace making language. I know you know that.
If this ‘peace plan’ is possible now, it was possible on, let’s say, 10 October 2023, and it would have avoided the slaughter of tens of thousands of Palestinians.
But it is not a peace plan. The whole world saw that in a nano second. It is merely the coda to Netanyahu’s forever stated determination to smash and decimate Palestine in Gaza and take over the territory fully. Humanity cannot bear the personal and collective consequences of the evil enacted in this genocide. For generations we will feel the trauma it has created.

For once on the face of the earth let’s stop for one second, and not move our arms so much. It would be an exotic moment without rush, without engines; we would all be together in a sudden strangeness. Pablo Neruda ‘Keeping Quiet’
If you are feeling the weight of grief in our collective trauma induced by the genocide so heavy that small personal or systemic issues that arise seem impossible to withstand or process, maybe booking a private constellations session is the action that would enable you to lift some weight from your heart.
