I needed to check in with something, someone(s) beyond my thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. As I sat in the jury box, I summoned the support of my ancestors through Dad and Lola and Maraea and way, way beyond. That was a moment. And there have been many more since...And that’s it, isn’t it. You are not alone. You are never alone. Your ancestors who dreamed of you are all around. Always.

Jack or Jill, Ahmed or Aysegul, Francesco or Claudia, love it or hate it, your name contains big intergenerational stories, in just a few letters or characters. Let's have a look into it.

Let’s talk about it, normalise it, de-mystify it, try to understand it, accept its pervasiveness, develop compassion toward our friends, family members and acquaintances who encounter it. Lets recognise it as a systemic issue and not an individual issue. Let’s fully accept that ‘mental illness’ is as blameless as cancer or a broken arm, or toothache. Let’s work towards breaking down the often astounding difficulties involved in getting help within the health and welfare syste

But it is not a peace plan. The whole world saw that in a nano second. It is merely the coda to Netanyahu’s forever stated determination to smash and decimate Palestine in Gaza and take over the territory fully. Humanity cannot bear the personal and collective consequences of the evil enacted in this genocide. For generations we will feel the trauma it has created.

We are all in need of some deep connection to ourselves and others in this awful time in the world in which our small personal issues are submerged by the accumulation of grief we are in. We cannot fix the world, but we can work with the personal.Are you choosing the same partner? in messy relationship(s) with parent, child or sibling? struggling with the effects of abuse?Constellations works with these issues. ..and many more.

These are pieces of information about unfinished business that I need to work with to fully release subtle trauma my body is still holding onto decades later. I know, without the slightest doubt that going into constellation with another facilitator will enable that to happen. Either something works or it doesn't. My experience is that constellations work, every time. The field does not lie, ever.

In the same way each of us does, the world accumulates grief and trauma. The most recent is never over before the next crashes over us. That is clear, as we see the horrors of the Holocaust still rippling through generations of the perpetrators and the victims in equal measure and power. So too, the effects of the Nakba(s). And now, the tsunami that Israel created in 2023 is insistent, thrashing every shore. There is no way to avoid it.
