Just arrive, with your lunch, your water bottle a sun hat and warm layer, and of course, your name. Your given name is a portal into your family history, dynamics, and possibly, secrets. We take it as the starting point for a day of exploration, expression and insight after establishing a container for our shared vulnerability.

Let’s talk about it, normalise it, de-mystify it, try to understand it, accept its pervasiveness, develop compassion toward our friends, family members and acquaintances who encounter it. Lets recognise it as a systemic issue and not an individual issue. Let’s fully accept that ‘mental illness’ is as blameless as cancer or a broken arm, or toothache. Let’s work towards breaking down the often astounding difficulties involved in getting help within the health and welfare syste

We are all in need of some deep connection to ourselves and others in this awful time in the world in which our small personal issues are submerged by the accumulation of grief we are in.
